sleepydumpling: istandagainstweightbullying: I used to HATE pictures of myself, but I hated none more than full body shots.  When friends of mine have taken full body pictures of me on digital cameras, I’ve actually gone behind their backs and deleted them.  When I heard about this campaign, I swallowed my anxiety and had this picture taken for my own STANDard.  When I saw the finished product, I cried.  I loved it!  I loved my pose, I loved all the things about my body I used to hate but most of all I loved the look of joy and self-confidence on my face that came through loud and clear.  I am so grateful to Marilyn Wann and her team of helpers and volunteer models who’ve given life to this campaign and made it a worldwide phenomenon.  Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart!
